What is Saenwerk?
Saenwerk is a planned professional workspace and creative hub in Zaandam, the Netherlands. It will offer private offices, dedicated desks, flex desks, meeting rooms, team offices, business addresses, a members' lounge and registered offices for international companies.
Where will Saenwerk be?
In Zaandam, in the Zaanstad municipality of Noord-Holland. We're looking for a building in central Zaandam, close to Zaandam station. The exact address will be shared with the waiting list first.
When does Saenwerk open?
The opening date isn't set yet. It depends on securing the building. Everyone on the waiting list hears first, and founding members get first choice of desks and offices.
How much does it cost?
Prices will be announced to the waiting list once the building is secured. Founding members who join before 2 January 2027 lock in their rate for 12 months.
How do I get there from Amsterdam or Schiphol?
Trains from Zaandam station take about 12 minutes to Amsterdam Centraal, about 15 minutes to Schiphol Airport, about 40 minutes to Utrecht Centraal and about 1 hour 35 minutes to Eindhoven. By car, the A7, A8 and A10 motorways are close by.
Can I register my company at Saenwerk?
Yes, that is the plan. For international and holding companies we intend to offer private offices under a proper lease of 24 months or longer, used only by your company. We don't give tax or legal advice, but can introduce you to local advisers.
Does joining the waiting list commit me to anything?
No. Signing up is free and without obligation. When reservations open, founding members will be invited to reserve their space with a refundable deposit, held by a Dutch notary and credited against their rent.
Until when can I become a founding member?
Until 2 January 2027. Everyone who joins the waiting list before then is invited as a founding member when reservations open. After that the waiting list stays open, but without the founding benefits.
